Training and Placement
Department Training & Placement
The Department of Agricultural Engineering is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and offers an approved intake of 60 students. The department currently has an overall student strength of around 159 and is supported by qualified faculty members. A dedicated department library with a wide collection of personality development books has also been established for the benefit of students.
The department is proud to have talented students with strong technical knowledge and soft skills. Their academic performance is highly commendable, with more than 47 final-year students consistently maintaining a CGPA of 7.5 and above without any history of arrears. The remaining students have also demonstrated consistent academic performance throughout their course of study.
As an autonomous institution, placement-oriented courses are offered in addition to the regular academic curriculum. A one-credit Placement Training Course is conducted from the third semester to the sixth semester. The training programme focuses on technical skills, aptitude, logical reasoning, group discussions, soft skills, and personal interview preparation to enhance students' employability.
Students actively participate in conferences, research activities, national and international technical events, bringing recognition to the department. They also demonstrate leadership qualities by organizing various technical and non-technical events on campus.
We have trained our students to become industry-ready professionals.
