Outcome Based Education

Assessment & Course Outcome Process

The institution follows a transparent assessment system and Outcome Based Education (OBE) methodology to ensure continuous improvement in teaching, learning and evaluation.

Assessment

Internal marks are awarded based on the performance in three Internal Assessment Tests (IAT) conducted according to Anna University regulations. The Examination Cell prepares the examination schedule and communicates it through the academic calendar and departmental notice boards.

Faculty members prepare two sets of question papers which are approved by the IQAC Coordinator, HoD and Principal. One question paper is selected randomly by the Principal for the examination.

Answer scripts are evaluated within one week and distributed for verification. Faculty members discuss probable answers, clarify doubts and explain common mistakes to improve student performance. Internal marks are uploaded in the Anna University Portal.
