Training & Placement
The Electronics and Communication Engineering Department is NAAC accredited and has an intake of 60 students. Present overall strength is around 240 and the current faculty strength is 16. A Department Library has been established with a wide collection of personality development and technical books to support students' career growth.
The department has talented students with strong technical and soft skills. Their academic performance deserves special recognition. More than 30 final year students have consistently secured a CGPA of 7.5 and above without any history of arrears, while the remaining students have also maintained consistent academic performance.
As an autonomous institution, the department offers placement-oriented courses in addition to the regular curriculum. One-credit placement courses are conducted from the third semester to the sixth semester. Comprehensive placement training includes technical skills, aptitude, logical reasoning, group discussions, soft skills, and personal interview preparation.
Students actively participate in conferences, research activities, national and international technical events, bringing laurels to the department. They also demonstrate leadership qualities by organizing various technical and non-technical events on campus.
