The Kavery Engineering College promotes the use of renewable energy and sustainable energy conservation practices across the campus. As part of its green campus initiative, the institution has adopted several alternate energy sources and energy-saving measures to reduce dependence on conventional fuels, improve energy efficiency, and protect natural resources.

Renewable energy sources regenerate naturally and help minimize environmental damage while ensuring long-term energy security. In line with this vision, the college has implemented facilities such as solar panels, solar water heaters, solar street lights, biogas plants, LED lighting, IoT-based water management, light sensors, and smart automation systems to support sustainable campus operations.

Solar Power Generation

The campus uses rooftop solar power generation to convert sunlight into electricity and reduce dependence on conventional power sources.

Energy Conservation Measures

LED bulbs, light sensors, and smart automation systems are used to optimize electricity consumption and improve energy efficiency.

Solar Electricity
